IAAPA LEGENDS: A Hall of Fame Celebratory Affair
A Night to Honor the Legends of Our Industry and Support the IAAPA Foundation

After a remarkable debut, IAAPA LEGENDS returns for its second year as one of IAAPA’s most meaningful evenings of celebration. This signature event honors the 2025 IAAPA Hall of Fame inductees: Keith James, Gerardo Arteaga Oehninger, Dolly Parton, Gary S. Wachs, and Su Zhigang, whose vision and innovation have shaped the attractions industry. Held in support of the IAAPA Foundation, the evening also raises funds through live and silent auctions, with contributions that help inspire and advance the next generation of industry leaders.

IAAPA Give Kids The World Benefit Events
Give Kids The World Village (GKTW) is an 89-acre, nonprofit “storybook” resort in Central Florida where children with critical illnesses and their families are treated to weeklong, cost-free vacations. IAAPA and many of our members have supported GKTW for more than 30 years. Show your support for The Village by participating in one of these events during IAAPA Expo 2025:
  • 22nd Annual IAAPA International Charity Golf Tournament
  • 19th Annual Footprints from the Heart 5K Fun Run and 1-Mile Walk
Merchandise Donations
Exhibitors can further support Give Kids The World Village (GKTW) by donating new/unused items such as plush, games, candy, T-shirts, rides, and more. Exhibitors can quickly and easily donate these items at the end of the show by dropping items off at the South Dock 05, near the beginning of aisle 100 (South Hall) from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21 in the designated Give Kids The World donation trailer. To help GKTW prepare for your donation, please complete the Give Kids The World Village In-Kind form and fax to 407-396-1207.

Top 10 Tips I Wish I Knew Before Exhibiting at My First IAAPA Expo
The North America M&S Committee has put together a top 10 list of things they wish they had known before exhibiting at IAAPA Expo and we want to share these recommendations with you!
  1. Plan for personal comfort: Comfortable shoes, throat lozenges, aspirin, and be sure to hydrate.
  2. Plan entry and exit: Plan to arrive on time and make plans for after the show. Remember that taxis and Uber can add 20-30 minutes (or more) to return to the hotel.
  3. Plan time to walk the floor: The show floor has many exciting visuals and engaging connections.
  4. Keep extra show maps in your booth [Provided by IAAPA]: Undoubtedly people will stop needing help or directions; a little kindness goes a long way.
  5. Take advantage of the IAAPA Connect+ App: Connect with attendees, view the agenda, on-site information, and more.
  6. Plan lunches and breaks: The show days are long and exciting, so make sure your schedule of appointments allows for breaks to use facilities, walk a little, and have meals.
  7. Register for different networking events: These events offer a more organic opportunity to meet folks away from the show floor.
  8. Potential customers are everywhere: From the moment you board your flight to Orlando, you are always around someone in the business. Opportunities to meet industry folks, conversations in elevators, etc. There are potential clients everywhere.
  9. Giveaway Smarts: Your instinct is to get those free giveaways, but do you need that super powerful solar-powered bobblehead/keyboard vacuum/pen set from that booth? Some giveaways are super cool, but be mindful that you have to get all that stuff home and have a place for it.
  10. Hand Sanitizer is your friend: You will shake many hands at the expo, which is part of the experience of this fantastic show, and this provides a quick way to clean your hands on the go.

Student Guidelines & Job Postings
Students looking to start a career in the attractions industry have an exciting opportunity at IAAPA Expo to network with industry leaders, learn from the brightest minds in the industry, and unlock resources to guide them through the early years of their career.

Since the show floor is an important business function for exhibitors, IAAPA has established a Student Resources & Guidelines page dedicated to providing helpful recommendations and guidance on events and education sessions tailored to students, while outlining best practices and policies when interacting with exhibitors on the show floor.
